Paris Hilton's on/off boyfriend Doug Reinhardt hired a Fijian island to win her back.

The hotel heiress – who reunited with "The Hills" star two weeks ago following a two-month split – has just returned from a romantic trip with Doug to the "private and beautiful" Wadigi Island, which he rented in an attempt to rekindle their relationship.

Doug wrote on his Twitter page: "Fiji is truly one of the most amazing places in the world. Wadigi Island in Fiji is the perfect romantic getaway so private and beautiful."

Paris added: "Love Wadigi Island, had the most incredible stay. It is true paradise, so beautiful and private. It's the perfect place to vacation."

The 28-year-old socialite was thrilled with Doug's surprise and loves being spoiled with romantic gestures.

A source said: "He has been so generous and sweet, and has really impressed her with his romantic ways. She loves being treated like a princess... she can feel how deeply in love he is with her, and she's having a blast."

The couple spent the break scuba diving, sky diving and enjoying various watersports.

During her time on the idyllic island, Paris wrote on her Twitter blog: "What a fantastic day! Found so many beautiful shells on the beach and the ocean was so clear and warm! I am having the time of my life!"
